SELF-LED: Run Workout

Tuesday Tear-It-Up Track and Trail Runs:
ATC Tuesday Track will be Treadie at the Abbotsford Rec Centre again as Track and Trails are simply too treacherous for a group to run them safely. So…
- 5:45-6:00pm: Meet at the Abbotsford Rec Centre 2nd floor gym to mark our territory
- 6:00-7:00pm: Choose your virtual route to follow OR make up your own
Here is a Treadie workout to Try: I love it!
- 10 min. warm up: YOUR walk pace to YOUR slow jog pace to YOUR slow run pace
- RUN: 30-50min (depending on fitness/recovery/# of runs a week0
- Here’s the fun: EVERY .20 miles, click UP 1, 2, 3 OR DOWN 1, 2, 3 clicks.
- Make decision according to HR: keep it in moderate to high aerobic if running 3x or more a week, keep it in low to moderate aerobic if only running 1 or 2x.
- *Playing with the buttons will keep you so engaged, you’ll want more more more! haha*
- 10-15 min cool down: drop by .5 mile increments every few minutes until walking the last 2 or 3 minutes.
