Sasamat OWS with Pacific Rim Multisport

Come join Abbotsford Triathlon Club and Pacific Rim Multisport in this summer’s open water swim series!

No matter how good you are in a pool, gaining confidence and skills for open water swimming is an essential part of triathlon. Open water can be exhilarating and rewarding, but also presents a range of unique challenges – deep-water mass starts, close proximity swimming, navigation and turns around buoys, swimming in currents and tides, breathing in turbulent water or swells, cold water immersion or sun glare and transitioning through a variety of swim exits.

Park in Parking Lot F and walk down the stairs. Meeting place is in front of the concession stand.

For those interested, we will also be turning this into a srick with a run around the lake. Each lap is 3km so feel free to do as many as you’d like!
