  • Run Workout

    Sunday Morning Long Runs: This is a “Coach Present” run session which happens at a variety of running locations. Sometimes, we even go out for breakfast together afterwards!

    During the summer, Coach Mikey starts the run at 7:00am for 2+ hours. Oftentimes, other ATC members start at 8:00am so feel free to start your run at 8:00am if you only want to run an hour. Start your run at 7:00am if you only want to run an hour but need to be done early. Just come and run!

  • End of Season Social

    Hi everyone! Thomas & Lenka are opening their beautiful home to us to celebrate the ATC Race BBQ, Mikey's (actual) Birthday and the 2018 ATC Membership Registration Launch! ATC is providing burgers, veggie burgers, hot dogs, water, ice tea, plates and cutlery. Please BYOB and a dish to share.

    Partners and kids are absolutely welcome. Thomas and Lenka do have a pool and jacuzzi so the safety of your children is entirely your responsibility if you so choose to bring them.

  • Cycling Workout

    Monday Spin: This coached program comes with membership and is designed for all levels.

    Athletes will focus on increasing speed and strength through varying pyramid speed workouts. Bring your bike, trainer, sweat towel, water and nutrition! We start at 6:30pm sharp so please feel free to come a few minutes early to set-up.

    Tuesday Tear-It-Up Track and Trail Runs: Join other ATC members for a group run at Rotary Stadium on Tuesday evenings from 5:45 – 7:00p.m (and we hit the trails as well from October to March). We meet on the “covered stand” side of the track (look for our ATC signs). An ATC coach will be present every week to lead you through a track workout. You will learn about and practice pacing and speed work. These sessions are fun, informative, and leveled so that every member, regardless of ability, is challenged to meet the goals of their running practice.

  • Phoenix Velo – Wednesday Spin

    Wentings Cycles 33245 N Railway Ave, Mission, BC, Canada

    Join our sister club, Phoenix Velo, for Wednesday Spins at Wentings Cycles in Mission, BC. These sessions are free for ATC Members. Bring your bike, trainer, sweat towel, nutrition and hydration because the workout is always amazing! A reminder that Wentings Cycles is an ATC sponsor - let them know you're an ATC member to receive your member discount.

    Please call ahead and reserve a trainer if you do have one ($5 fee). Arrive anytime after 5:30pm to set-up. Spin starts promptly at 6:00pm.

    The Phoenix Velo Training Group , based in Mission BC, Canada is a cycling club that has been in the Fraser Valley over thirty years. Its main focus has been to organize a variety of events for cyclists of all ages and abilities.
    They hold criterium races , time trials, hill climbs and training sessions for all levels of cyclists. We are mainly a road cycling club.

    This week, ATC is running the Hayward Lake Trail! Meet at the Prospera parking lot at Highway 11 and Lougheed Highway at 6:30am if you would like to carpool OR drive out yourself. We will start at 7:00am for an “out and back” workout you won’t forget any time soon!

    Difficulty Level 2 / 10. Running time: 60 minutes to 2 hours, depending on fitness level and training goals. Coach Mikey will be running 75 minutes. Who’s in?

    An ATC coach will be present every week to lead you through a track workout. You will learn about and practice pacing and speed work. These sessions are fun, informative, and leveled so that every member, regardless of ability, is challenged to meet the goals of their running practice.

    This week is a special Trail Run edition starting from Coaches Vince & Kristina's home followed by Coaches Coffee & Tri 101: Goal Setting immediately after the run. See Calendar for more details.

    Join ATC at Kristina & Vince's at 5:45pm. From there we will run to the Robert Bateman Secondary School track.

  • Coaches Coffee & Goal Setting

    Join us for a special edition of Coaches Coffee where Coaches Mikey & Vince will present Tri 101: Goal Setting for 2018.

    As many of us have completed our last race of the 2017 season, let's look ahead and start planning for 2018! Join our coaches as they walk you through how to set “SMART” goals (specific, measurable, attainable, relevant and time-bound) for both outcome-based goals as well as process-oriented goals.
    •Learn how to make a realistic assessment of your current fitness as you head into the off season.
    • Discuss short and long-term goals, reasonable and stretch goals, fun and wacky goals.
    •Create a strategy on how to achieve your goals and learn tips on how to stick to it.

    Coffee, tea, water and muffins will be served.
